INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN THE DIGITAL SINGLE MARKET
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
The module on intellectual property in the Digital Single Market frames the understanding of intellectual property (IP) in the context of the Digital Single Market as a central European Union policy. It follows closely the EU’s policy on IP in the Digital Single Market, and gives students tools to understand and work with that policy in their future professional lives.
The module is comprised of lectures, which provide strong theoretical foundations; tutorials or practical seminars, that cover the application of lecture content to practical cases; guest lectures, where students can have a first-hand knowledge from specialists dealing with IP in the DSM; and a final mock-trial based on a real-case scenario. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a round-table discussion with policy-makers, and to enrol in the Indie Art Legal Clinic, where they can have a hands-on experience of the application of law.
This module has received funding from the European Union, but it reflects only the author’s view. The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency and the European Commission are not responsible for any use that may be made of the information it contains.
This page will display all materials related to these modules as soon as they are produced and become available.
